Yo Brothaman, sorry I didn't get back to ya on the colab, school was just too much. But now I'm out so I can show you what I've been workin on.
Dude, it's so funny you say that. I just started school recently and I've been working on a piece I'm actually gettin paid for :D. Only $50 but ya gotta start somewhere. So needless to say I've been mad busy as well. But I definitely want to get that piece done, and see what we come up with.
I've seen some of your recent posts, you're definitely getting better at your line work. Somethin you might wanna try: Since I see you use color for designs that you put on the inside of your lettering, try using a few more colors and develop a familiarity with using colors that follow a similar theme, (cool colors, cream colors, earth tones, etc.). You'll find certain colors that really compliment each other and give a "loudness" to your work. In the mean time keep it up :)!
